The top 10 free sports game of the year for the year, according to the latest survey released by The Game Developers Association, is The Perfect Game.
That was the only title to make the list.
The other games that made the list are FIFA 18, NBA 2K18, NBA Live 18, and NBA Live 20.
The top game of 2017, FIFA 18 (for free), was the highest-rated game in 2017, and was also the top-selling game in 2018.
The survey found that a quarter of gamers had downloaded at least one of the games.
That figure rose to 26 percent for NBA 2k18, and 22 percent for FIFA 18.
The most popular game, Madden NFL 18, was downloaded at a rate of 1.8 million per day.
There were a total of more than 1.7 million games downloaded in the first three months of 2018.
“This is the best free games of the summer,” the survey said.
“We have a great mix of sports games for all ages.
Some of the top rated sports games are FIFA, NBA, NBA LIVE, and The Perfect World.
We have a few more in the pipeline, but they are just the beginning.”
The survey was conducted over the summer, after EA released a free game, NFL 2K17, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The survey also polled 1,837 gamers on their top 10 games of 2017.
The highest-scoring game of that survey was FIFA 18 at 1.83 million downloads.
