As we mentioned in the NBA 13 Ultimate Team review, NBA 2k15’s multiplayer component will require the use of a game controller.
It is a relatively new addition to the series, and it has yet to be announced which way it will be handled in the game.
In addition, the game is missing the “Game Master Mode,” a feature that allows players to play alongside a game’s game creator, and to create their own game’s levels, rulesets, and characters.
While the latter feature was implemented in NBA 2, it will not be available in the sequel.
Instead, NBA 15 will feature the same multiplayer mode, but with a focus on “competitive” play, which will allow players to “fight for the championship.”
The online component, which was also removed in NBA 13, will remain in the final game, but will include the ability to play with other users in local games.NBA 2K16 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 23.
